The Optex Wireless Sensor and Transmitter component is completely sealed for use in all seasons. Rain, snow, sleet etc. will not affect the sensor. The built in infrared sensor will detect moving warmth such as cars, people etc. which cross in front of it. The transmitter will than send a wireless signal up to 2000 feet to the Optex Wireless Receiver which will chime as well as activate the built in relay control.

The Optex Receiver's are capable of working with up to 12 different transmitters and have three different chime tones to choose from.
