Looking to protect your property?
With its infrared technology the DCMT-2500 is able to detect both people and vehicles entering your property, sending a signal as far as one half mile away! Operating on one (1) 9V battery the infra red driveway sensor has a detection range as far as 80 feet away! This sensor is then able to communicate to the chime receiver sending it a wireless alert signal. Whether it is your driveway or personal estate, the sensor’s long-range capabilities will send a signal to your chime receiver!
This long range driveway security system is accompanied by the Dakota Alert DCR-2500 receiver. This receiver uses four (4) Form “C” relay outputs each rated for 24VDC at 3Amps, as well as a 12V relay output, used for powering driveway alarm accessories! In addition to these outputs, there are also built in LED lights present on this receiver if the situation arose where the original alarm was neglected. These reminder lights, paired with an audible beep, can be programmed to activate every 15 minutes following the initial alarm ensuring your attention is captured!

Been using a Dakota alert driveway alarm for years. Upgraded to the DCR 2500 and am quite pleased. The new smaller brown sensor is less obtrusive and less visible. Love it. The older system started missing some hits and is in for repair. Will use it at a different entrance.

Like the review above, I was uncertain whether this would be the product that would for me... but on the suggestion of several of our neighbours, I decided to try it. I've owned this particular driveway alarm for over 18 months now and not had a single issue with it. I now join my neighbours in recommending this driveway alarm to others

I was a little hesitant to buy this after reading reviews on the 3000 model... but after having this for over a month I can say I'm very happy. The sensor is about 2000' from where I've placed my receiver and I get all the alarms no problem! Do get some false alarms from squirrels and birds though.
