This product is a great way to extend your home security system with its wireless range of 2500 feet! This device is great for keeping an eye on your driveway or other entrance to your home/property as it can detect not only vehicles but people as well. When something is detected, this device sends a wireless signal 2500 feet away to your Dakota Alert Duty Cycle Receiver (DCR-2500) to notify you. This device operates on a single 9V battery (not included in purchase) and can monitor an area up to 50 feet in front of itself.

NOTE - These new Dakota Alert Duty Cycle 2500 Alarms do NOT work with the Dakota Alert 3000 Series Alarms
