The Intermediate Freeze Alarm is an effective tool designed to alert you of rising/falling temperatures, power failures and necessary backup battery replacement! Dialing up to three separate phone numbers when alarm conditions are met, this device generates an automated phone call when necessary and is compatible with answering machines and voice mail!

    Last year our vacation home furnace konked out in the middle of a particularly bad storm. One of our pipes ended up bursting and we ended up with with one heck of a mess! Not happening this year :)

    It was simple to set up although you have to use a phone to program it as it doesn't have a keypad built in. The first week we had it we had a long power outage and it did its job calling us but the battery died after a few hours so we couldn't check the status anymore. We have since bought the extra battery pack which should help.. overall pleased

    I bought this for my cottage, so I would be notified of a temperature drop or a power failure...the freeze alarm has done a great job, and I can call into this unit to check the temperature anytime.
