Murs Chime - Description

This device is one of the most compatible products in the driveway alarm category as it can be connected to the M538-BS transceiver, or any other entry alert receiver. This chime module connects to the N/O relay output on the base station and will play one of three tunes (Westminster chime, London Bridge or Oh my Darling) when the base station receives a signal from the MURS Alert transmitter. On top of that, the chime also has an adjustable volume control that allows you to choose the exact level of noise emmited and this entire unit operates off of two (2) "AA" batteries (not included with purchase). Authorized by the FCC, MURS (Multi-Use Radio Service) is a license free service that allows the user to transmit voice and data. MURS also allows a maximum of 2 watts of output power. This means greater range than other license free radio services.
