On the job, 24 hours
a day, 7 days a week, Sensaphone watches your network servers, video
and tape machines, and other computer controllers--and notifies
you if a problem occurs. Think of the peace of mind! Avoid damage
and downtime with Sensaphone. Sensaphone Express II or Sensaphone
2000 for advanced monitoring. 400 or 800 for
more basic monitoring features. 1400 and 1800 in harsh environments .Choose the model with the features
you need.
Temperature: The Sensaphone Express II comes with a built-in
10k remote temperature sensor with a range of -60º to 175ºF
(-58º to 80º C). You can also attach additional temperature
sensors--such as the TempºAlert sensor--to any of its
four dry contact inputs (when configured as N.O.) in order to monitor
temperature at additional locations. The Sensaphone 2000 offers eight universal inputs, any of which can be configured for
temperature. The 400 and 800 offer built-in temperature
monitoring as well. You'll know if the temperature in your enclosure
deviates from optimum conditions, before equipment is damaged. Temperature
limits can be programmed from -20º to +150º F (-30º
to 65º C). Remote temperature monitoring sensors are
also available for use with these two models.
Power Failure & Surges: Sensaphone Express and 2000 monitor AC Power failure.
You can set the duration the failure must exist before the unit
acknowledges and calls out, from 0 seconds to 272 minutes. The Express II
is equipped with a 12-hour Gel Cell rechargeable battery back-up
to keep it operating during a power outage. The Sensaphone 2000 monitors AC power in addition to its 8 universal inputs. It includes
a compartment for 6 Nickel-Cadmium batteries to provide 10-15 hours
of backup. Input status is viewable with the Free Manager software
accompanying the 2000. While Sensaphones come with built-in surge
protection, Phonetics recommends that you use external phone and
power line protection such as the Isotel Surge Protector (FGD-0023)
for phone and power line protection. Both 400 and 800 come equipped with built-in monitoring for power failure. Know immediately
when power goes off. You can program how long a power outage lasts
before you need to be informed. Both units can operate from back-up
batteries to keep them running approximately 24 hours after a power
failure takes place. Both units have internal surge protection built
in. However, Phonetics advises you protect your Sensaphone, and
other electrical equipment connected to your phone line, with additional
external surge protection such as the Isotel listed above. Security: Sensaphone Express II can monitor for security of doors and windows when magnetic reed
switches or motion detectors are wired to any of its 4 dry contact
inputs (when configured as N.C.). Sensors can be placed up to 1500
feet from the unit. Furthermore, a user-programmed security code
prevents unauthorized tampering. The same sensors can be wired to
any or all of the Sensaphone 2000's 8 universal inputs. |
Attach Magnetic Reed security sensors (FGD-0006) or an Infrared
Motion Detector (FGD-0007) to the 400 or 800 to monitor windows and doors. The Sensaphone will respond to opened
windows and doors. You can even connect a pre-installed security
system to the Sensaphone, saving yourself monthly fees paid to monitoring
services. Both units will call whomever you choose .Humidity: When connected to
a sensor such as a Humidistat (FG-0027), both the Express and 2000 monitor humidity levels in your equipment room to
ensure that moisture levels remain safe for all critical equipment.
Maintain safe humidity levels. Connect a Humidistat sensor to your 400 or 800 and you'll know the moisture
content of the air in critical locations. Sound Monitoring: The Express II , 1400 and 1800 may be ordered with a microphone on a 25 foot cord. The microphone is used
for recording your own custom dialout messages, and for the remote
monitoring of on-site sounds. You can call in and listen to on-site
sounds at any time. You can also program the Express to respond
to any sound alarms. If you have a smoke detector or other alarm
mechanism installed, the Sensaphone 400 and 800 will hear it and respond. You program the level and duration of
sound to which the Sensaphone responds. You can also call in and
listen to sounds on location through either unit's built-in microphone. Sensaphone 2000 has 8 universal inputs, plus built-in power
failure detection. Of the recommended models, it features the widest
array of communication options: user recordable voice, fax, modem,
numeric and alphanumeric pager, and internet E-mail. It can be programmed
either locally or by modem. It includes a run time accumulator and
pulse count abilities. Sensaphone Express II may be ordered with output cards with 8 SPDT
Form C contact outputs, capable of switching up to 5 Amps. It stores
up to 8 32-digit phone numbers. The unit is wall-mounted in a secure
NEMA-4X fiberglass enclosure. Nonvolatile memory stores voice and
programming information to prevent loss in the event of a power
failure. It can be programmed locally or remotely by touch-tone
phone. Its Line Seizure feature takes control of the phone line
in any emergency, even if a phone has inadvertently been left off
the hook. The Model 400 monitors four sensors - temperature,
power failure, and two more of your choice--and calls up to four
32-digit phone numbers when an alarm is triggered. The Model
800 monitors up to eight sensors, and calls up to eight 32-digit
phone numbers. Both allow you to call in at any time to check conditions.
Alarms are announced in a clear, high quality voice.
All of these Sensaphone units can share
the phone line with answering machines, faxes and modems. All have
proven reliable, providing over a decade of service in more than
200,000 installations. Sensaphones are manufactured in the USA. |
