Sensaphone provides the environmental
security for your peace of mind. Keep your programs on schedule
and your environment under control. Let Sensaphone monitor your
laboratories, analytical and test equipment, culture environments,
blood banks, tissue storage facilities--wherever critical tests,
specimens, samples and lab animals reside.
The Express II, 1400, 1800, 400, and 800 monitor for potential problems and call you right away. These models
offer the following features to handle problems:
Temperature Deviation: 1400, 1800, 400, and 800 have built-in temperature
monitoring. You'll know if the temperature in your freezers, refrigerator
units and incubators deviates from optimum conditions, before supplies
are ruined or trouble occurs. Temperature limits can be programmed
from -20º to +150º F (-30º to 65º C). Express
II's inputs (8 inputs are standard but you may have as many
as 40) are universal and can be configured to accept four different
kinds of analog thermistors: 2.8K F, 2.8K C, 10K F, or 10K C; high
and low limits are user programmable.
Remote temperature monitoring sensors are also available.
Power Failure: The Express
II can use Dry Contact (N.O./N.C.) sensors and comes with a
Gel-cell rechargeable backup battery to provide 6-12 hours of backup
operation.1400, 1800, 400, and 800 also have built-in monitoring
for power failure. Know immediately when power to your refrigeration
units goes off. You can program how long a power outage lasts before
you need to be informed, from 0 seconds to 272 minutes. Both units
are equipped for back-up batteries to keep them running approximately
24 hours after a power failure takes place. Both units have internal
surge protection built in. However, Phonetics advises that you protect
your Sensaphone, and other electrical equipment connected to your
phone line, with additional external surge protection. We recommend
the Isotel Surge Protector. |
