Both Cottage Sitter 400 and 800
monitor for all of these potential problems, and call you right
away -- before an incident becomes a disaster. As well these models allow you to turn up the heat before you arrive. Never arrive to a cold cabin or home again!
Frozen Pipes: Built-in temperature monitoring. Know about cold temperatures before your pipes burst.
Temperature limits can be programmed from -20º to +150º
F (-30º to 65º C).
Smoke & Fire Alarms: Built-in sound
monitoring. If a smoke or other alarm goes off, the Sensaphone responds
quickly. You program the level and duration of sound to which the
Sensaphone responds.
Theft: Attach standard Magnetic
Reed security sensors (FGD-0006) or an Infrared Motion
Detector (FGD-0007), and the Sensaphone will respond to
opened windows and doors. You can even connect a pre-installed security
system to the Sensaphone, saving yourself monthly fees paid to monitoring
services. The 400 and 800 will call whomever you choose -- 400 your
neighbor, the police, the fire department, etc.
Power Failure: Built-in monitoring for
power failures. You can program how long a power outage lasts before
you need to be informed, from 0 seconds to 272 minutes.
Basement Flooding: With a Water
Detection sensor (FGD-0013), you’ll know right
away that a water heater has ruptured, a pipe burst, or rainwater
is seeping into the basement -- long before the basement fills up
with water.
Sound: With either unit, call in at
any time and listen to sounds on location through the built-in microphone.
The Cottage Sitter 400 monitors four sensors -- temperature,
power failure, and two more of your choice--and calls up to four
phone numbers that you program in.
The Cottage Sitter 800 monitors up to eight sensors, and calls
up to eight 32-digit phone numbers.
Both allow you to call in at any time to check
on conditions. Alarms are announced in a clear, high quality voice.
Both units can share a phone line with an answering machine. Sensaphones
