visually impaired alarms

There are different systems available from Absolute Automation that will make your home more secure. For the blind and visually impaired, entry alerts and power and temperature monitors can help announce visitors and provide warning of potentially dangerous environmental issues.

Driveway Alarm

Knowing when people are arriving on the property can bring a sense of security and peace of mind. Hearing what sounds like a vehicle entering your property can be an intimidating moment and it is often difficult to relax until you know for certain whether or not a visitor (or intruder) has arrived. With a driveway alarm there is no question, you will know for certain every time a vehicle enters your property.

Dakota Driveway Alarm

Dakota Driveway Alarm

The Dakota Alert DCMA-2500 uses an Infra Red Sensor to detect people and cars. It has a wireless range of an incredible 2500 feet and comes with an indoor driveway chime, timed relay output and many other advanced features!

The transmitter operates on one 9 volt battery and is easily mounted on a tree or post near the drive. The transmitter's invisible beam detects people or vehicles out to about 80 feet (adjustable) then sends a radio signal back to the DCR-3000 receiver and chime up to 2500' away.

Up to 4 zones can be monitored with additional transmitters. The transmitters can be programmed so they will each sound a different tone at the receiver. With this system, you always know where people are coming from.

When the receiver gets a signal from the transmitter one of 4 different tones (Classical, Westminster Chime, Ding Dong, Whistle) will sound for a few seconds. There is also a volume control so you can set the sound to the desired level!

Kitchen Safety

The kitchen is the scene of most household disasters and personal injuries. Between sharp knives, appliances and heat sources they can be dangerous areas. Remembering whether or not you turned the stove off when you are done using it is a common concern almost everyone has, and if you can't tell if it is still on by looking at the stove it can become a problem.

Stove Guard Shutoff

Stove Guard Alarm

The Stove Guard stove monitoring and shut off systems can help prevent any cooking fires caused by unattended cooking! Incredibly easy to setup and install the Stove Guard simply monitors your kitchen for motion and if motion is not detected after a user selectable amount of time the StoveGuard will automatically cut power to the stove shutting it off!
