Vehicle
Detection and Driveway Alarm system |
|
|
| How
often have you been surprised or startled by an unexpected caller
at your door? Or how often have you looked out of your window to
see a truck or car in your driveway ... or just leaving? |
The Auto Alert vehicle detection
system works by sensing the motion of a metal object that passes
within fifteen feet of a buried sensor. When a car, truck, or any
vehicle passes the vehicle detector probe, a signal is sent
to the controller, which in turn uses a radio transmitter
to activate a Wireless Chime in any room you choose.
Will not detect deer, birds, wind, leaves. Virtually free from false
alarms! |
How
Does It Work?
The Auto Alert metal detection probe is buried in or beside your driveway
and only detects the metal of a vehicle as it moves by.
You are then alerted by your wireless chime with a pleasant
"ding dong" chime. The portable chime may be used
in any room, the backyard, or even pool side. Optional chimes
may be purchased to alert you throughout your home.
Virtually
free from false alarms!

Installing
the Auto Alert
Installing the AutoAlert is quick and easy. You simply bury the sensor
about 6" deep alongside your driveway - then, run the cable
just under the lawn up to the controller. (Just use a sharp spade
to open a shallow channel for the cable, then smooth it over by
stepping on it.)
Then, attach the three
color-coded wires to the three clearly marked terminals in the AutoAlert
Vehicle Detector Controller, usually located in the basement or
garage of your home - and plug the adapter into 120-volt power.
No hose across the driveway, no light beams to break, no buttons
to push. All automatic, sensitivity-range adjustable, and hidden
from sight. |
