Preventing false alarms caused by animals, wind or rain, the Murs Wireless Probe Vehicle Detector is easy to install and ready to be used by you! Authorized by the FCC, MURS (Multi-Use Radio Service) is a license free service that allows the user to transmit voice and data. This radio operated system is the longest range system allowed by the FCC!

The weatherproof transmitter operates on six (6) AA batteries, and should be positioned in the area being monitored. The metal sensing probe works to detect vehicle movement, sending an alarm signal through the attached 50’ of cable to the weatherproof transmitter which than sends a wireless alarm signal up to 4 miles to the handheld transceiver!

Acting not only as an alert, the M538-BS is also a two-way voice communication tool. Powered by a plug-in transformer, this base station possesses 5 channels and 38 sub channels to help you communicate with other users. Capable of sending 4 different alert messages, the driveway alert transmitter sends a signal to the M538-BS transceiver as far as 4 miles away! Spoken in English for clear understanding, these signals are easily selected at the transmitter, allowing for separate zones to be monitored simultaneously! The receiver is also equipped with a relay output to operate any of our Driveway Alarm Accessories.

You may also add the MURS Infra-Red Transmitter to this system to protect areas where it is necessary to detect people walking.
