Wireless Driveway Alarm from Optex for Safety And Convenience
Weatherproof wireless indoor/outdoor Sensor Transmitter mounts easily wherever you need to know of people or cars arriving or leaving. Receiver may be placed anywhere in your home or office to announce the arrival of visitors.

The Optex Wireless Sensor and Transmitter component is completely sealed for use in all seasons. Rain, snow, sleet etc. will not affect the sensor. The built in infrared sensor will detect moving warmth such as cars, people etc. which cross in front of it. The transmitter will than send a wireless signal up to 2000 feet to the Optex Wireless Receiver which will chime as well as activate the built in relay control. The Optex Receiver's are capable of working with up to 12 different transmitters and have three different chime tones to choose from.

I am using this to detect if my mother (with Alzheimer)leaves her room at night. I just mounted it over her door and I keep the chime box in my room. If she wanders in the night I am woke up with the chime. Works perfect for my needs, and the sales lady was so helpful helping me pick this model.

I purchased one of these systems six years ago. I live in a rural area and always had people show up at my front door without any advance warning. Not anymore. This system detects cars or people entering my driveway. I liked the system so much I purchased two more systems for Christmas presents.

I had the Optex Wireless 1000 and it worked for me for over 10 years through snow, sleet, hail etc. I've replaced it now with the 2000 and it seems to be built right along the same lines.

A little tricky to get set up because there are so many options to adjust pattern and pick zones. The instructions are difficult to read but once I got it going it works great.. really good sound quality.

I have tried a few of the cheaper models before trying this one. This one has no trouble going the 900'I need. Great fit and finish and I was able to set the transmitter to fan pattern which the others brands won't. I recommend!
