Description
The SMA-4000 bundle includes one of the DCMT-4000 motion sensor units and one of the SR-4000 smart receiver units. This system allows you to receive smart phone notifications when the motion sensor transmits a signal to the receiver.
SR-4000 Receiver
The Dakota Alert SR-4000 receiver is a smart, Wi-Fi enabled wireless receiver that can enroll any of the 4000-series Dakota Alert wireless driveway alarm sensors. It can accept up to 16 wireless 4000 series transmitters and offers a selection of 12 different tunes with 4 different "zones" allowing the user to know which sensor or zone has been triggered; as well as automatically notifying connected users whenever the sensor goes off through the Dakota Alert app for iOS and Android.
In addition to sound and visual notifications, the SR-4000 has 2 x Form C relays (both normally open and normally closed connections) and a 12 VDC output that can trigger when one of the 4000 sensors are activated.
The relay and output can be set to trigger for 1 second, 5 seconds, 15 seconds or 5 minutes. This provides the flexibility to connect to a siren, strobe, alarm system or a variety of other 2-wire devices. When enrolled on your local Wi-Fi network, any connected user will receive push alerts whenever the receiver is triggered by any of the 4000-series sensors.
DCMT-4000
This weatherproof sensor can be mounted inside or outdoors to monitor driveways, entrances, pool areas, service entrances and more. It runs on a 9V battery and sends a wireless signal to the Dakota 4000 receiver when motion is sensed.
Compatible with the Dakota DCR4000, RE-4K-PLUS, and SR-4000 receivers that will flash an LED indicator and play your choice of notification tunes/tones when triggered.
Up to 16 different sensors (transmitters) can be paired with the Dakota 4000 series receivers.
