In remote locations where land line telephone and Internet communication isn't practical, cellular based monitoring, alarm and alert systems are the answer. These devices are frequently used in farming, medical, pharmaceutical and commercial applications, golf courses and campuses, cottages, vacation homes, remote properties, well and water facilities. Keep track of power failures, temperature and humidity, water and flood conditions, sumps and other devices using a cellular connection. These systems may send text or email alerts in case one or more sensors go outside their defined normal range, or if power fails. Some also offer data logging so a record of sensor data like temperature is maintained for internal or external auditing.
