Dakota Alert 4000
Dakota Alert has been one of the best brands of driveway alarms for many years with both wired and wireless options available.
The Dakota 4000 series has a wireless range of up to a mile in ideal conditions without interference. There are several different models available to suit each application. The system is expandable with support for multiple sensors and multiple receivers. Some receivers have built in relays to allow connection to an external system.
Motion Sensing
The motion sensor will detect movement of vehicles and people. Larger animals may also be detected.
Metal Sensing Driveway Probe
The metal sensing probe will only detect moving metal objects like cars, trucks, tractors and the like. They will not detect people or animals.
Photo Beam Solar Powered
This system uses a photo beam between a sender and receiver to detect anything that breaks the beam. Otherwise known as break beam. The sensor is solar powered.
Rubber Air Hose
Just like an old gas station in the movies, the rubber hose is laid down where detection is required and when a vehicle drives over the hose the system is triggered.
