The Dakota Alert SBB-4000 Solar Powered Break Beam Sensors are activated by an object breaking the beam between two or more sensors rather than being triggered by motion or heat. These outdoor, solar-powered sensors are perfect for driveway monitoring, entrance warnings, and even perimeter security and can hold a charge for up to one month)
Used in conjunction with the DCR-4000, the RE-4K PLUS receiver, or the PR-4000 Portable Receiver, the SBB-4000 Break Beam Sensors will increase your security by providing you with a larger monitored area to fit your needs. Receiver(s) not included. This is an add-on sensor/transmitter package.
Since there is no electrical wiring required for these wireless solar-powered break beam sensors, installation only takes a few minutes. The sensor is powered by solar power and a lithium-ion rechargeable battery.
