Description
The WaterCop Pro WC-WPFSDT Hi/Low Ambient Air Temperature and Flood Sensor is a wireless environmental monitoring sensor designed for use with the WaterCop Pro system. It provides dual protection by detecting both water leaks/flooding and abnormal ambient air temperatures that could indicate freezing pipes or overheating conditions. When connected to a WaterCop Pro automatic shut-off system, the sensor can trigger the main water valve to close, helping prevent costly water damage.
Product Specifications
The WC-WPFSDT continuously monitors:
- Flood conditions via an included water-sensing probe
- Low ambient temperatures that may lead to frozen pipes triggered at 34°F (1°C)

High ambient temperatures that may indicate HVAC or environmental issues triggered at 84°F (29°C)
Common Applications
The sensor is commonly installed near water heaters, washing machines, sinks, plumbing chases, crawl spaces, utility rooms, and other areas where leaks or temperature extremes could cause property damage.
